Lesson from the Spirit

Part 1

-You will now see four different fragments.

And I saw the following:
The first is people bustling about on the street.
The second — gray shadows.
The third — saturated fiery colors.
The fourth — a white canvas.

The first fragment is life without adornment, that everyday existence accepted in your society.
It is a life in which you come to know one another, yourself, and the world around you, where you pass through certain stages of maturation and awareness in order to reclaim your memory.

The second fragment is the life of faded hearts. Those who have despaired of finding their own, who see no way out; they walk as gray shadows, wandering in circles, awaiting a moment of miracle.

The third fragment is a battlefield where each fights with himself for the truth that lies within, for the knowledge he has known, felt, dared to find again.

And the fourth fragment is life without internecine strife, without enmity and expectation, without struggle and searching, without striving.

-What was that?
-Stages of remembering.

They showed, as if, the same person simply living an ordinary life until he comes to an impasse, to those situations that force him to despair, and thus to begin seeking a way out, to hope for a miracle. And then a miracle happens to them, and something deep in their soul begins to guide them, revealing event after event, opening various doors of knowing, where at each of those doors they search for themselves, gathering fragment by fragment. And the final stage — the stage of purification, of complete acceptance and finding oneself, of serenity and peace, of joy and happiness.
All of it is necessary. Why must one accept everything? Because everything exists for a reason. Everything in life is arranged so that we come to that very point of understanding, the starting position, the point of origin from which there is no road back, only the road forward into knowing, into development.

And on that road the hardest part begins — the struggle with oneself.
Where it is difficult to open up, difficult to try, difficult to tell, difficult to understand, difficult to believe — all of that is an inner struggle with oneself. The most difficult stage, after which comes absolute awakening, enlightenment, a clear mind, clear sight and hearing.
Everything sharpens, all the senses are transformed at once. For we are transformed from within.
