A Lesson from the Spirit
The Spirit sat on the green meadow on a large stone and turned a small pebble over in his hands.
“Do you know what this stone can do?”
“I don’t.”
“It can keep. Not deep in the earth, not high in the sky, but within itself — it can keep history. All that it once saw. And all that you did not see.
It keeps that history as purely and openly as a stream finds its way, acting by instinct, not asking, not looking.
It keeps the secret not because it has lain long on the ground and seen everything, but because it knows how to see, knows how to hear, knows how to absorb the information given to it.
It is important not to forget who you are. Not a temporary repository for souls on earth, but faithful Keepers of the eternal soul.
Do you feel the difference?
Eternal Keepers of the secret of eternity.
This is your path.
Care for the body is needed only as a temporary haven, so you have time to perceive more.
You are more when you see yourselves with eyes full of faith, joy, understanding, ready to reflect any attack upon the inviolability of the fire of eternal truth.
Keepers of the secret of the chosen, entrusted in your affairs. So that, when he returns, he can look each person in the eye and see each one in that gaze.
