Lesson from the Spirit

They show mountains. Like a ski resort, many lifts. People sit down, they are carried up, and then down. At some point the mechanism stops.
- What do you want to show me, Spirit?
- To stop the mechanism means to look for a way out. What happens when a mechanism breaks?
- It is repaired.
- But how does that feel?
To understand that something is broken you must see the whole picture, know the principles of this device, understand its purpose, the mechanism of its work.
Otherwise how will you know it is malfunctioning?
- I still don't understand what you are getting at.
- I am speaking about people. People are heavenly beings, with very subtle, sensitive, and vulnerable souls, responsive to various afflictions.
Any trial concerns their transformation.
When you feel yourself cracked, ask yourself what you see. What preceded this event, what do you feel?
You often take this fracture as some mechanism that requires fixing. But instead of entering into that pain, you look around in confusion, you freeze, sometimes you panic, not knowing what to do next, where to go.
Finding the cause of these mixed feelings is sometimes not difficult; you need only delve into the primary cause of your being, understand who you are, what your purpose is, where you sincerely strive, toward what.
You often deceive yourself, passing off falsehood as truth where your truth is absent.
Where you invent some image and try it on as if it were a garment not tailored to you.
It may warm you, perhaps. Perhaps you will adapt to it, but the sense of joy in beholding yourself will be dimmed, incomplete. As if you have put on someone else's attire.
A fracture is not necessarily bad. That pause you take to understand that something ought to be changed, transformed, to inscribe new words for your true life, for the path you have always sought and desired.
As soon as you see and feel your purpose, the very principle of how your fragile mechanism works, that break will mend itself, as something noticed by you for the sake of the soul's Ascension.

It does not matter that these lifts are broken, that the route you constantly followed—rising up the mountain then descending—no longer works. Perhaps it is only a sign for you to choose another path, to try new trails toward which your Soul so longs.
