A Counsel to the Group from the Spirit

Do not rush to take control of the room.
In reveling in your power, you may fail to notice how you yourself lose solid ground beneath your feet. You may not feel it. For you are not occupied with yourself; you are occupied only with the effect you have on those around you.
Power is not in intimidation, not in the promises of desperate hearts, but in sincere, unconditional love for the world.
Walk forward on your path through that love; build bridges through it, joining hearts with one another, where you open not merely hearts but souls, allowing them to breathe freely.
And you will be surprised how they will all smile back at you and, with joy, reverence, and proper respect, reach toward you and toward the words you are trying to convey.
Because they will feel freedom in receiving your love, and in that freedom they will find happiness in knowing themselves, in knowing you. Take by the hand and let go. Do not fear, do not dread being abandoned.
And you will be surprised how easily and naturally you will learn to speak with one another, understanding and accepting each and every person within yourself.
