A Lesson from the Spirit

They show a field of flowers: red, white, yellow, blue. One species, but different colors.
“What is this about?”
“The celebration of your soul.”
“What do you mean?”
“Once you were a single whole, but you divided your consciousness into many parts, like a splitting into atoms.
Each of you is a carrier of the collective consciousness. The soul of each of you is joined to others by shared interests, needs, views, and longings.
Where the ego falls away and the soul awakens, the same music sounds.
This music spreads through space in vibrations invisible to the eye, touching the soul of each of you.
The soul has one aim — the union of every heart. Through this union the hidden subconscious will begin to awaken, somewhere deep within you yourselves.
Your desire to separate yourself from the outer world is nothing other than fear. Many mistake it for strength and power.
It is fear reflected in the eyes of the suffering who look at you, and when you gaze into those eyes you see the invisible thread that unites you with them.
Out of fear to accept, you distance yourself with your pride, elevating yourself above everyone else.
But as soon as the awareness of your unity comes to you, as soon as you make room to accept it, you will realize, you will hear, the music your own soul tries to bring to you. You will recognize these chords, and this healing music will sound not only in your heart but will gently touch the soul of everyone in your field. Do not fear awareness, do not fear acceptance, for through acceptance comes salvation, peace, and serenity.
