A Lesson from the Spirit

They show a stage veiled in black curtains, everything black. She is in the audience, watching a play that does not exist for her; she does not see it, does not feel it, but she feels her place in the auditorium.

- What is this lesson about?
- Your salvation is in your own reflection.
- Tell me more, please.
- When you see yourself in the faces of others as someone who does not exist, for whom it is unfathomable to be the one you see, you begin to enter a play in which your significance depends precisely on how you perceive those around you.
You may not see yourself, but when you do not see yourself in the eyes of others, you lose stability, the solid ground beneath your feet; you get lost in that comparison, devaluing your own greatness.
Your greatness is not in the ability to see, hear, feel like everyone else, like those in whom you do not see yourself. Your greatness is in the ability to cast off fear and step onto the stage.
As long as you sit in the hall as a listener, an ordinary spectator, you will see nothing, only a dark screen before your eyes. But once you step onto the stage, decide to follow yourself, the whole script of the play and the backstage that was previously unavailable to you will open to your sight.
There you will find the wisdom you strive for, the elevation of your consciousness, the discoveries of your senses through which you will begin to experience yourself and the world anew.

They show the set lights come up and many spectators appear in the hall; the hall is full.

- Do not strive for the sake of the spectators who will appear in this hall.
As you become aware, as you study your role and perform it, your hall will fill with those people who likewise will look at you and not see themselves.
This is the way of nurturing the consciousness of others, where each spectator climbs onto the stage casting off fears, in full acceptance and confidence in their choice, in confidence in their spiritual significance.

One person leaves the stage into the wings, newcomers arrive and put up new sets. The stage remains, but the sets change. Each time someone rises, the hall fills with new people.

- What are you seeking? You are not seeking comparison; you are seeking the acceptance of your greatness. But you seek in the wrong places, and you will not find it there; you will only find it in the awareness of the significance of the choice that will transform your perception of the world.
Your greatness is not in being superior to anyone, not in foolish comparisons, but only in who you truly are. And you are that light that calls out to the One God.
