A Lesson from the Spirit

A candle burns. It grows and grows. The flame seems to encompass rings. It spreads within the rings and outside them, embracing the entire diameter.
“What is this about?”
“About the Puja.”
They show this flame as if it expands and reaches its completing cycle.
This fire flares ring after ring, like the rings of a tree of life, so it has them. As if it heals each ring of life, all those layers. It heals and transforms, and by transforming it gives a new turn of life, like a new message.

“Your inner fire is like the fire of life. It knows how to breathe, it has consciousness, it is in each of you.
Those of you who try to ignore it, cutting off its oxygen, are surprised why they do not hear themselves, why the world does not hear them. Why they begin to lose the connection they once had?
They do not lose connection with themselves, they merely cut off their oxygen, not allowing the inner fire to grow.
What is self-love?
What is it to love? First and foremost it is to be able to hear—to hear yourself, to hear the world around you, so as to understand what is needed, what you need, what the world needs. And the world needs you, as a whole spiritual being. When you are disconnected from yourself, you stop giving yourself to the world, because you do not hear or see yourself.
Help yourself to become firm in faith, through your inner potential, through listening to your own will, through seeing the fire within you.
By becoming disconnected from yourself you become disconnected from the world; you miss out on all the blessings that can and should be given to you. That is why it is so important to be in harmony with yourself.”
