I found myself on Venus. A spirit said that the sun here is beautiful. Around me were space and a cage—as if made of a thin ether of bluish tint. And behind the cage stood a spirit.
"This is the cage you have put yourself into. You can step out of it, just feel that it does not exist. Since you are the creator of this cage, you can get out of it—remove it, erase it."
"Something holds me."
"Those are your fears and doubts. They keep you from opening to the world. You are already shedding them, feeling lighter and lighter each day. Many vices are born of fear and doubt: greed—fear of poverty; gluttony—from fear of hunger; jealousy—fear of loneliness and misunderstanding; vanity—woven from doubts about one’s own significance... Fears and doubts hold you. You must rid yourself of them. And allow yourself to live.
What is fear? It is an echo of the past.
All fears are not originally human. They were inflicted on humanity by humanity itself through faith in the body. All because man turned away from his soul—from his true divine origin. This renunciation led to fears and doubts: what will I eat, how do I look, who should I be with, how should I be...? All this produces jealousy, envy, vanity... it is so primitive for a person that it sounds from his lips like truth. But it is a delusion, for only the soul is truth. The original divine intent is the soul; it is the crown of human creation, not the person in his body.
Try to put your hand through this cage, take a step toward me without fear and doubt. Go, follow your inner voice, for that is the voice of the true divine beginning in you—follow it without fear and doubt."
