A Lesson from the Spirit
Organize the boundaries of your delusions skillfully.
The whole world prescribes certain rules, certain frames.
Those frames let you move through the labyrinths of your own delusions. These delusions arrange themselves as particular locations on your path. And you wander in them, time and again running into a dead end.
And then you begin to think about an exit.
But an exit from delusions, to eyes that see only those delusions, is impossible.
You panic, you grow anxious from not understanding. You are lost simply from not knowing how to act, how to be from now on, where to find a way out.
Yet you will find the way not by jumping beyond the walls you have built, but by plunging inward, diving into depth. And there, in that depth into which you have just descended, entirely different vistas open up. Space. The expanse of thought. The expanse of feeling. The expanse of action.
Harmony of mind, soul, and body is beheld only in the depth of knowing the true primary cause of all that exists. Harmony and balance can be seen only with the inner eye. Where there is no need to run about seeking an exit, to leap beyond the borders of established delusions, but only to immerse yourself inside.
It is like falling asleep.
You are not afraid to fall asleep, are you?
You understand how necessary it is for your mind and body. It is what you feel physically, what is clear to you.
So why fear diving into the depths of your own contemplation of the true core of the soul?
It is precisely in that depth that you will find the way out to the outside.
As confusing as it may sound, that is exactly how it is.
When you are tired, you fall asleep. Your body signals that it is time to rest.
When unrest gnaws at your soul, torments you,
it is the same signal for help, for rebooting, for rest, for revisiting former priorities and directions. Ask yourself, who are you and why are you here?
And receive the answer in complete silence and stillness.
There is no exit. Because there are no borders of illusory perception of the world, no borders of delusion,
if you immerse yourself in the true resonance of the truth within you.
When you hit a dead end, it is a signal to begin seeking a way. When the walls of your labyrinth touch the walls of another person’s, you recognize something. And what he or you say then sounds equally true to you, like a kind of realization. That is merely the breaking down of one of the walls of your labyrinths. And you can go on. Only you will see differently. For where a wall falls, space is formed for rethinking, for diving into your own depth.
