A Lesson from the Spirit

"To think about your Soul means to desire to see rebirth in the Souls of others."
"What is that about?"
"It is about your uncertainty. You often confuse concepts, substitute one for another, hoping not to notice the difference. But the difference is obvious, as obvious as a mother not recognizing her child.
To deceive the Soul is not to bewilder the mind; it is far more difficult, is it not?
When you care for someone, what do you feel inside?
On that depends whether your plea to God for help for others is genuine, or whether it is your desire to see yourself as the one helping.

Strip away all the trappings from yourself, all the valiant armor, to see the true simplicity of things concealed within your wisdom.
Wisdom does not manifest through the intellect at all, but through the Soul.
Wisdom is that truth, the indisputable word that rings equally true to everyone who hears it.

So, what do you feel when you help someone? Pride in yourself? A wish to elevate yourself, for the sake of some deed?
Or to see the result of your plea, your supplication, your help in the one for whom you strive, in the one for whom you are ready to open the space of choosing the true path?

Each time you do something, observe whether it is important for you to be noticed by someone, or whether it is far more important to see the grateful faces of those you were able to help, even through someone else, even somewhere far from you, and without your name.
And yet, in this way—and only in this way—your name grows louder, carried as a whisper across the expanses of the Universe.

By allowing this help to be, by letting your attention be exerted not through yourself but through those who have remembered themselves by touching your words, you give continuation to your words in the actions of others' hands.
The Earth is multiplied by the word, by the wise, kind word. Where there is no place for pride, envy, anger, judgment, distrust, where there is no place for self-praise in spiritual deeds.
For where you praise yourself with your deeds, you become a stranger to yourself, forming something new, alien to your true spiritual quality and the desire of your Soul.
So walk this path in acceptance of the truth that you are, enlightening the minds of seekers, quenching the thirst of the suffering. And let your name be exalted thus—not for pride's sake, but by the deed of good alone."
