Lesson from the Spirit
I descend the steps. It is dark, absolute darkness, but each time I take a step the space around me lights up, like a frame precisely along the edge of the stair I have stepped on. As I go down, more and more glowing frames appear behind me.
There is an absolutely white space, a luminous space. Ahead are violet bulbs, placed like beacons.
"My Spirit, tell me, where am I going?"
"The center of your own Universe, reborn within you."
You are so afraid to go down into the dark, into complete not-knowing, into absolute blackness. That darkness is nothing other than the path of your insight.
Every situation in which you feared something because of ignorance, because of your soul's inexperience, you sometimes backed away.
But by taking this path not as a descent but as a learning of your own depth, you will learn not only to accept yourself but to pass each step of your way with light inside.
That light is your cheerfulness, love, happiness, inspiration, the soul's flight, grace. All that you come to through accepting your path.
And so, day by day, step by step, you do not simply go down; you rise in your spirituality, you rebirth an entire universe within yourself, illuminating it with light.
If you are afraid to accept your path, you will never know what waits for you below, what is ready to open to you and so desperately calls from within each of you with the voice of truth, the voice of insight.
For you are blind only in your unseeing.
But where you bravely accept your fate, there you will find the insight of your soul, that very response that has long been waiting in the silence.
He shows that below a large hall opens; it, too, slowly lights up, and ahead are vast doors whose end and edge cannot be seen. And these doors are nothing other than absolute light, the light of the Absolute—nothing more—but in this light everything is born.
Lesson from the Spirit I descend the steps.
