A Counsel to the Group from the Spirit

Refrain from any kind of ultimatum. Even if it seems to you merely a harmless turn of phrase, something insignificant, weightless, without consequence in this world.
Any ultimatum, like an immutable word, like an oath written into a contract, causes not just reflection but fixation on that point, causing you to miss important events in your own life.
Life slows, losing its familiar taste, color, scent, and radiance.
An ultimatum is not a sign of unshakeable resolution, but a means of unconditionally influencing another’s will.
And where another’s will falls prostrate, your own will will be stirred, destabilized, striving to maintain balance.
There is no ultimatum in a compromise, but there is a decision of voluntary expression of will by both sides. Perhaps with concessions, but voluntary ones.
Bearing all this in mind, you will learn with ease to shape your own request in such a way as to maximize its energetic significance and weight within the system of the universe. Be frank with yourselves; be thoughtful, not through judgment but through knowledge of that necessary step which you accept with ease and serene confidence and understanding, taking that step in trust and harmony with yourselves and the world around you.
So be it.
