Lesson from the Spirit

It shows many paths, like rays from a single center: they go different ways, then converge at the same points — points of decision, points of realization of the past, conclusions drawn from lessons learned.

- Every time you reflect on your past, on those recent events that served your awareness, laying down those important lessons that ultimately lead you to unfolding, you move into a point of realization.
At each of these points of realization, where you recall, where you understand all that happened to you and accept it as the given important lesson, you arrive at a point of forming new paths.
It is like passing through certain stages. On the map of your life many such paths are drawn, and how quickly you reach a given point — the point of forming new courses to follow — depends on your resourcefulness, stubbornness, willpower, and your faith.
By accepting what happened to you yesterday, you allow the new tomorrow not merely to exist but to open to your sight a vast perspective of your growth. Therefore acceptance is necessary. Therefore it is necessary to seek and extract lessons from every situation, even those that sometimes seem hostile to you. For in those situations wisdom is born, and wisdom is your weighted contribution to your own growth.
Where you refuse to look for a lesson and see only the bitterness of punishment and injustice, there you will weave long routes, lacking the variety of moves, the perspective you would have had if you had agreed to accept the past.
What is ease and carefreeness?
It is not passivity and certainly not childishness. It is a mature perception of the reality that is presented to you in certain images.
For someone, a fallen stone from a cliff is a sign of its destruction. For another, that stone becomes an obstacle on the path. And someone else sees in it the harmonious course of nature, its development. In development there is freedom. Where you are deprived of choice, freedom ends for everything. But where, accepting yourself and everything that happens to you without reserve, you learn, cultivating wisdom within yourself, there you move into development, into the freedom to choose the direction that will best unfold you.
