Advice to the Group from the Spirit
"Look at the flame. It mesmerizes and soothes. But touch it and your hands will be burned.
Moderation.
Moderation is what will lead you to balance, to harmony, to the point of beholding heavenly grace in all living and nonliving things that surround you.
You look at the fire from afar and admire it. Observe others around you, observe animals, plants, birds, fish…
Observing from a distance, you admire; your gaze stills, and your heart questions your Soul with words of gratitude for the pause you have allowed yourself to take.
And in that pause, with a spellbound look, you behold the beauty that was created for you, in your name, and for the One who created you.
Now, step closer to the fire and you will feel its warmth: gentle, warming, enveloping—not scorched, but rekindling new hope for the changes already happening within you from the moment your intention was sent into the space that you are ready, that you wish to transform yourself, allowing this warmth to fill your thoughts, warm your heart, and comfort your soul.
The same is true when you behold nature: you admire from afar and you feel joy, but as soon as you study the deeper meaning of everything, your soul grows warm from the realizations with which you have been filled.
But try to snuff out a candle with your fingers and you will only burn yourself.
"What does this mean?"
"When you do not see the meaning in the space around you—its beauty, charms, harmony, the unique symphony of life—you extinguish your inner flame with your own hands, burning yourself in the process. Be vigilant about your own feelings and sensations. Be prudent in studying anything, and be grateful for the opportunity to feel it."
