A Lesson from the Spirit
- What is a heavy weight? Self-assertion. Self-assertion at the expense of alien beliefs is destructive.
- What does that mean?
- Often you attribute to yourselves invented qualities, knowledge, skills, even aspirations. You do this to stand out, to separate yourself from the crowd, not noticing how you blend into the gray asphalt.
Brightness is not in imitation, nor in a blind desire to follow someone, but in your sincerity. And it is not what you want at this particular moment, but what you feel a need for always.
- How not to confuse what we truly feel with a passing desire?
- A passing desire only reveals your character, impulsive or insecure, but character nonetheless.
But character is not the foundation of you as a multifaceted personality.
Character merely marks the boundaries of your quick temper, nothing more.
But the soul—that is where you keep the true information about yourself.
You can hide behind any masks and will even come to believe in them yourselves, so deeply will you play the role.
What your soul wants inspires, uplifts, gives hope for light, and leads you to success.
