A Lesson from the Spirit
They show mountains, and below, in the gorge, a river runs as if pinched between those mountains.
I look at this magnificence from a bird’s-eye view, and my spirit is taken by this freedom, by this peace, this sense of being protected. As if those mountains shelter from wind, from heat, from any encroachment on freedom.
Many meet it with resistance, and suffer because of that.
If someone wanted to harm you, you would already be gone. One must understand how precious and guarded you are by Higher forces. But it is never enough for you. You demand guarantees, proof, indisputable clichés.
When you go to the bathroom or the kitchen, you don’t ask for guarantees that the stove will turn on or not, that the refrigerator will open or not. You simply go and act, understanding that it has already happened in your field. In your consciousness those actions have already occurred. By accepting this concept so clearly and openly, you accept the rules of the game that are being rebuilt right now, the cards are reshuffled, routes are drawn.
Walking with trust, giving your hand with gratitude to the Spirit who leads you,
you begin to notice more and more new details, more discoveries, more illuminations, more inspiration. You grow. Just as an organism needs food to grow, so in spirituality you ripen and then expand.
At first it happens rapidly, like in infancy. In childhood the body gains mass quickly, grows in size, and learns faster than an adult.
But many meet knowledge with resistance and distrust.
A little child does not ask its mother whether it may go with her or not. It simply goes, without thinking of deceit or anything else.
This is not even about trust; it is about the complete merging of your consciousness with the consciousness of higher forces. Where you, becoming a single whole, without asking, without wavering, without doubting, give your hand to be led, to receive blessings. Those blessings that will allow your soul to grow up, to know and reveal all the subtleties of its facets, and to accept its boundless divine power. Ultimately, that is how it is.
And where you come to know your boundless divine power, you know the Creator, finding in Him your home, protection, support, and salvation.
An eagle flies above those same mountains, above that river. Its wings grow larger and larger, as if encompassing all of this with its wings.
