Lesson from the Spirit
- Ego should not trouble you excessively.
To tame the Ego is to tame yourself, to humble yourself before that basic truth where you are deprived of feelings and emotions.
All that you spent years studying, testing, analyzing, will suddenly vanish. And you will free yourself from the chains of the ego that hold you in earthly orbit.
To wander across the expanses of the Universe, plunging into its immutable essence, into its solemnity — it is so beautiful.
It is coherent, harmonious, and therefore natural. All of this responds to you and to the search for the being that envelops you. But what will happen if you close yourself off? To destroy the Ego means to destroy the traces of those human cares that once were.
- And what is bad about that?
- Nothing, if you wish to fathom the expanses of the Universe. And much, if you wish to preserve your former self: your emotions, your smiles, your persistence, curiosity, your laughter that awakens like a peal across the distances. Even cherished memories — everything will change, because you will not be the same.
Lose the Ego — lose the person.
You were created by the Creator in His image and likeness. Is that so terrible? Yet He gave you something else in exchange for that bodiless existence that He possesses. He gave you the gift of feeling, of knowing, of childlike wonder and inquisitiveness, curiosity on the verge of grasping great discoveries.
What is a human life compared to the Universe? Merely a moment, or less. And within that moment how many mixed emotions, exclamations, raptures and even sorrows — how much have you experienced?
To be different from someone does not mean for ill or for good.
You are what you were once created to be, in the image and design of the Creator Himself. You are the crown of His creation.
Enclosing the spiritual within the corporeal, He gave you the ability to create and to see the world as no one else, to feel it. Any vibrations, tensions, everything that has ever touched you passes through your sensing: scorching winds, winter nights, a raging storm, the burning heat…
And that is only about external sensations; how much depth, mystery, the ungraspable there is! You often lament, sighing that somewhere else is better, that someone else has it somewhere, perhaps at the edge of the Universe itself, but only not you. Not understanding the gift you possess.
- So one must live from the position of the ego? That would be wrong.
- I did not say that. I am only bringing the conversation to harmony. Order, balance — these are the firm laws upon which worlds were built. This is what you must ultimately arrive at yourselves — balance, harmony.
To be able to feel and, together with that, to be able to awaken your Soul to the state of knowing the grandeur of the entire Cosmos. A unique ability inherent in you.
Therefore, love yourself and your neighbor in your eyes and in your heart, so that you may elevate your capacities to the level of the Soul’s greatness, to the level of the Creator’s design.
What is evil? You often flee from the ego as if it were something alien to you, incomprehensible.
But evil is only abuse. To be a unified whole means to become that unified whole within yourself, uniting rather than warring inside. Only through unification and acceptance of each part of yourself as an important and necessary element of a single cohesive mechanism. And where there is unity of the soul, there is unity of souls, reborn and trembling before the great action of Divine Consciousness.
