Lesson from the Spirit
"Spirit, why did you tell me to sit exactly like this, facing east, my back to the sunset?"
"This is the way of life, a cycle, a certain periodicity of being. You are born and you come to your sunset. For what? To be reborn again."
I am on some kind of ship, completely alone. Around me it is dark, I can see nothing, only the sunset. Something blinds my eyes, and I turn away. When I turned away, I realized that the sun was illuminating the path I had traveled. The path I had walked.
"What is this, Spirit? What are these waters? What is all this about?"
"These waters are your life’s path. It is traced by a light invisible to the eye, by the sun, by the dawn that lights the road for you so that you can see where you are going, so that you may understand.
But sometimes you need the opposite, the feeling of the presence of that life experience you have accumulated in the moment here and now.
When you see and feel that your strength has run out, when you are in some confusion because you don’t know where to go, even though your path is lit, you — walking blindly along it — suddenly realize you cannot go on, that the sun which with its glow lit your way has suddenly begun to burn your eyes, because you do not see the path.
Take a deep breath, freeze for a few seconds up high, very high, at that point where you have never felt yourself, but where you have always been.
This is not a point of no return; this is a point of awareness and acceptance of your true potential, a point of healing for soul and body from those torments, ailments, from all that darkness you reject, fearing to accept yourself and your actions, fearing justifications and forgiveness for what has been done to you.
This is the point of all-forgiveness and acceptance, of healing and rebirth of your true self, of that strength, power, that potential which is revealed right now with an unprecedented radiance, illuminating all the space around. You do not look back, having turned your head away from the dawn that leads you along your path; you look only at yourself, into the reflection of your own tired eyes, into the reflection of your own helplessness, misunderstanding, nonacceptance.
I see a mirror; a person is reflected there, and he takes out a dark-colored sphere. He holds it with his right hand and with his left he runs his hand over it and all the black husk seems to fall off it like dust, cracking and peeling away, leaving a golden sphere in his hands.
"What is this, Spirit?"
"This is the rebirth of yourselves within the potential placed in you by the Creator himself.
You are instrument and you are intention, and love that creates and forgives all, recreating an incredible creation, in the name of pure, selfless, all-understanding, unconditional love of God for each of you.
For in his name there is you; each of you is part of him and is his continuation. You are that strength, that power, and that miracle which is capable not only of being reborn again, but of rebirthing and transforming all the space around you yourselves.
It shows how that sphere rises higher and higher; there are many of them, a vast number. They seem to merge in a single golden radiance, into one enormous stream of light that soars upward, breaking through darkness and ignorance, through closedness and the fog of the mind; where there was misunderstanding and nonacceptance there is now only the true light of the Primordial Source.
