A Lesson from the Spirit

On sacred words

My dears, yesterday I had an astonishing dialogue with the Spirit. After it I could not sleep for a long time, my chest was all pulsing, and in the morning I wanted to redo everything. A remarkable surge of energy. I share this conversation with you.

"Please, Spirit, tell me, can You give sacred words that will awaken the world, the souls of people? What must be known?"
"You sharpen your attention on what does not belong to your mind.
You play at equality when you are not equal to yourselves.
What do you seek, wandering in labyrinths?
There you do not seek yourselves, but justification for your efforts, reward, the reason you came here.
Reward is not a prize, not a gift, not a merit; it is a given that opens to those who have believed, who have established themselves in their faith, carrying it through troubles and pains, through deaths and sufferings.
There is born the firmness of your faith, not in words, and sometimes not even in deeds, but only in the stronghold of your faith.
Much you still will not understand, much you will have to grasp. You are not the first who has asked about this, and, alas, not the last."
"Why alas?"
"Those who come seeking truth often stumble over doubt, they do not reach the end. So it was before you, so it will be after, with only one difference."
"What?"
"You will teach others to love."

In this life it is easy to complain. It is not shameful when you see only yourselves, but if you turn and look around, you will understand the worthlessness of your reproaches.

"Give some commandments, what must people do to come to you?"
"Do not grumble at others. Do not grumble at yourselves.
Accept your conscience warily, examine it carefully."
