Lesson from the Spirit

It shows a person; he walks and walks. There is some kind of block before his feet. The person steps on it, and a new road builds itself before him. Thus he rises higher and higher.

"When you begin your path, consider whether you are going where you intend."

"How can we know whether we are going where we intend?"

"It is important not to see your road from beginning to end; far more important is to set a direction by your own intention.

And then, when you walk your path and you see a certain stone that seems to obstruct your passage, you can push it aside with much effort, spending a great deal of time and resources on it, expecting to be rewarded for such labor. But that is not so,

for these stones, these blocks—call them what you will—are only your lessons.

They are that integral, necessary part of yourselves without which your unfolding is impossible.

If you are deaf and blind toward yourselves, what do you expect to see in others?

Your sight will be clouded, and your hearing unresponsive. Therefore it will be difficult to discern truth.

Wherever you go, each time you see a stone in your path, do not rush to remove it, do not hurry to get rid of it; lift it gently, hold it carefully and open it, and you will see within a bright, divine, unearthly glow—allow that glow to be.

Look inside; learn what your lesson in that obstacle was, what you must realize now.

Do you see? It is no longer a stone. It is a small box, a little golden cube kept in the depths of your soul. It is opened, it shines. And this golden dust allows your awareness to be, allows you to pass this lesson with ease, with understanding, with acceptance, accepting the importance of this lesson for further growth.

And each time you see something as an obstacle, lift it and let your eyes see the truth inside that stone. Let that lesson be your acceptance. Allow it to arrange itself before you as a step invisible to the eye; stepping onto it, a new road, smooth and lit, opens before your sight.

And so, step by step, rising higher and higher, you, unhurried and confident, walk into your own knowing.
