Lesson from the Spirit
- While some learn to write, others forget how to fly.
You miss much, preferring earthly tasks to the spiritual mission.
No one forbids you to care for the place where you live; that is right.
But when you dive headfirst into earthly routine, into the mundane, you are overcome by a wave of indifference to your own Spirit.
You forget, in the end, how to fly, how your soul can lift toward the heavens and soar.
You forget your obvious skill while you toil in earthly affairs.
There is harmony when you learn to write by describing your flight. You combine them.
Learn to write, and at the same time, in that learning, come to know yourself, without forgetting your true path, who you are and why you are here. By describing a heavenly phenomenon with your earthly hand, you sketch wondrous lines filled with true divine light.
When you do this, you notice the important lesson contained on the pages you have painted.
A lesson about forgetfulness, about how crucial it is to remember yourself, not granting absolute truth to the story of your own creation.
Observe: try to weave patterns of the true Divine principle into your earthly deeds, with a fine, strong, golden thread of light. And you will see how quickly you learn, how swift your process of learning becomes, how full you will be after such lessons, how much you will realize—and in that realization accept yourself and the world around you.
Each time your work goes awry, or study comes with difficulty, remember who you are, and try in your deeds, in your learning, to weave that same golden thread with a simple, wondrous gaze.
Your lessons, your labors, your actions, your thoughts, your words… That thread is that very feeling arising from the depth of your soul: candid, invincible, magnanimous love. And that which is woven with love is doomed to succeed. Is it not?
- Yes. Thank you.
