A Lesson from the Spirit

"Are you afraid to be heard, or to go unheard?"
"I don't understand."
"What are you afraid of, I ask? Are you afraid that no one will hear you? That your prayers, those pleas? Or are you afraid of hearing the answer inside yourself to all those questions that tear out of the depths of your soul like a cry.
When you call to God, what and how do you say it? Do you expect an answer, or are you afraid to learn the truth about yourself?
Because when you, your soul wounded by those dishonorable words, deeds, thoughts you once committed, turn to the Creator, you seem afraid.
You say that He does not hear your petitions, but that is not true. It is you who speak so softly and uncertainly, because you are afraid of being heard.
You fear being heard because you already know the answer, you feel it, you understand.
But you need not be afraid.
It does not matter what happened in the past. The past is meant for you to sort out your actions, to open your future with pure intentions and an open heart.

And then, when you understand this, you will be surprised how clearly your voice will ring out for all to hear, how your speech will pour forth as a blissful stream to the One whom you exalt with your praise and gratitude kept in your heart, rising with Him, to Him, with your soul. There, in the union of trembling hearts, you will find that peace and rest, that true serenity of infinite knowing of your own divine meaning.
And then there will be no more words and questions, for all the words in your questions will dissolve in the infinite flow of the Creator's true, primordial, all-encompassing love for you.
So be it. 🙏
