A Lesson from the Spirit

They show a cave, many arches inside and stalactites. I float slowly through those arches, stalactites hanging over me. I turn around; there is some noise behind me, those stalactites are falling down, which raises a rumble and a clatter.
"Keep your wisdom in serenity."
"What does that mean?"
"Your wisdom is the making of decisions in the calm flow of your thoughts, conjectures, actions, in your own exile from anything that disturbs your peace. Where you show calm, prudence, unhurriedness, where you submit, where you do not waver, do not become upset, there wisdom is born in your intentions. There is born that harmony which allows you to establish a process of co-creation with your own genius, reborn in your soul. That genius that calls to you is yourself.
Wisdom does not tolerate fuss, pressure, or fear. Wisdom is calm and serenity in the acceptance of any decision. Where you fuss, flounder, worry, fear, there you raise a clamor out of nothing. For that nothing is only your fear and your unwillingness to find the right answer. The right answer, the righteous answer, is kept inside you, in the depth of your wisdom, which is kept in serenity, in renunciation of worldly bustle.
You often complain that wisdom lets you down, that you cannot make the right decision. But that is only because you fuss, because you allow a clamor to rise from nothing, endangering yourself and others from the fall of those stalactites that collapse down upon you. And you, in panic, sink even deeper into fears.
Slow down, release all anxieties, and allow yourself to look inside, and you will find wisdom there, and your wise decision will be a reflection of the needs of your soul, a reflection of that light which is kept within you yourself.
When your decisions come from the depth of your wisdom, you do not hesitate, do not doubt, you do not worry, you do not hope—you simply know—and in your certainty your significance grows along with the wise counsel you have spoken, for the true good of yourself and the world around."
