A Lesson from the Spirit

A person walks toward the light. He shields his face with his hand, as if afraid of being scorched, stepping carefully. They show an elderly gray-haired man.
"In gray hair there is wisdom, why?"
"It is connected to a person's age."
"You think so? Your error is that you are expecting. Expecting your achievements, your fulfillments, your discoveries, your transformations. You wait that someday, after some time, you will have all that. As if wisdom will come with gray hair.
But that is a mistake. Wisdom does not hide in grayness; there is only old age.
A child is rich in wisdom too—when he knows and believes what he says. Your doubts do not allow you to perceive the seed of wisdom in a simple truth.
"What are you speaking about?"
"Truth is always simple. Like rain or snow, like fallen dew, like clean, clear water at the bottom of a well. You are so used to weighing everything down, adorning your life with unnecessary things, excesses that merely corrupt your mind and prevent you from looking into the soul.
You take many things into account, but the moment of the seed of truth's birth is not visible to you.
"How can we be made to see the truth everywhere?"
"Truth is hidden in those deep answers to oneself about what stirs and matters to many. Because you are many. Learn to see yourself in the multitude of all and everything, and you will find the truth within yourself.
And where you stroll arm in arm only with yourself, there you do not see, because all that unnecessary stuff with which you have surrounded yourself robs you of attention and devotion.
And that attention, that devotion, slips away from you.
By understanding your commonality, you will become stronger and wiser, unfolding your heart gradually, like the unfolding of an angelic flower of life, where on the tips of the petals, in the reflection of the dew, hides the truth you seek. So be it. 🙏
