Lesson from the Spirit

They show an ice rink; a skater is skating beautifully, gliding across the surface. But he falls. And the Spirit asks what should be done. I, glancing at his worn skates, answer.

"You must choose the right footwear if he is falling."
"Not only that.
You are missing much by fixating on yourselves. You think the fall is only the fault of the skates. Whether they are there or not does not determine it. Much is beyond your understanding."
"For example, tell me what?"
"Your pride, your vanity.
You are so accustomed to them that you do not notice.
"What has pride to do with it?"
"Pride and vanity lie in his considering himself alone, and that is not so. So he tries to cross that ice by himself, changes his shoes, when all he needs to do is trust and open his heart, and then he can make the journey comfortably."

They show a sleigh, large and beautiful.

"As long as you keep thinking in the paradigm that the skates are to blame, every time you fall and return to change your shoes, you will not be able to pass.
It is not about the shoes; it is about you yourselves. You will come back again and again, not understanding that until you open your heart in trust to love, you will not get beyond the threshold you try to cross over and over. You will tread in place, you will trace circles, but you will not pass beyond that line, because you do not see it, having denied yourself the vision of all that surrounds you. It is not merely this rink; it is only a small part of a vast world."

They show an enormous map that seems endless, many routes, and the skater keeps circling.

"What are these skates? They are your attitudes, your outlooks. When you fall, when you are hurt, when you think you have made a mistake, you begin to change your attitude, often without understanding or accepting the lesson that was given to you. In that case, you simply swap one pair of old skates for another and try to stand on the ice confidently. But as soon as you take a few steps, a new fall is guaranteed.
"What should be done?"
"Remove pride, rid yourselves of vanity. All of that is what destroys you from within, what prevents you from opening.
What does opening mean? It means allowing the true light of the Creator to kindle within you, enriching and harmonizing not only yourselves but the space you touch, the people with whom you interact. When you choose the path of trust in your Spirit and in yourselves, the path open to your pure intentions and sincere love, you will understand that you are not alone, that you are, like an angelic flower, nurtured, guided, led, protected, brought into the space and in the manner that best helps you unfold, realizing the greatness and splendor of the Creator’s true unconditional love for you, which gently and tenderly directs, leads, and shields you from all that you feared, from what you did not accept, from what you were afraid of, leaving only a warm glow inside you that you follow like a traveler after a star, which illuminates his path with the heavenly light of the Creator Himself.
So be it! 🙏
