Lesson from the Spirit
They show a parking lot filled with cars.
“You may be mistaken. That is your nature.”
“What do you want to say next?”
“You must not remain in ignorance, apart from all who are moving toward the light.
Just look at these cars. They stand here waiting for something; failing to get it, they turn around and drive away, not understanding that they need to get out of the car.”
“What has the car got to do with it? The car is us?”
“Exactly. That is why you keep changing roads, trying to go around by a different route, not realizing that they all lead here.
This is a point of reflection, a point of understanding, a point where, by rearranging everything inside yourself, you begin to wonder who you are. But you cannot know what lies ahead if you keep sitting in the car, sitting inside yourself.
Ahead there is a bright light and a beautiful building. Some people get out of their cars. When others see this, they too begin to open their doors and step out.
“That is why it is so important not only to awaken yourself, but to awaken others—not by force, but simply by your example.”
They step beyond some luminous line, like a gate, and everything around them fills with light; then others follow.
“This car is you. It is the world of comfort you inhabit. Leaving it can be difficult. You may understand that you need to go further, but sometimes your fear of leaving your shell, your comfort zone, outweighs that understanding.
And so, without opening the door, you set off again.
But when you open the door, allow yourself to step out, you will realize that the world you inhabited—the car—was only a closed, confined space controlled by you.
What waits outside is something greater: a world of possibilities now inconceivable to you.
You may deny this, but in doing so you deny the divine manifestation within yourself.
It is like renouncing your lineage. How can you turn your back on the tree from which you grow, from which you are nourished, with which you grow? Likewise, by denying the divine beginning within you, you deny your own existence and lay a heavy seal upon yourself.
What are you afraid of? You are afraid only of yourself. It is the fear of nonacceptance, the fear of failing, the fear of doubt, the fear of yielding to pressure and oblivion. You cling to the past so tightly that you are afraid to move forward.
But when the awareness comes to you that you do not lose but rather gain your whole, harmonious, happy self, then before your eyes the gates to another world will open, which will manifest on your path. So be it. 🙏
