Lesson from the Spirit

- Strands. Strands of disappointment trail after you.
When you demand something, disappointment awaits you, even if you get it.
By demanding, you place your request above what you truly want to receive.
Do not demand much of yourself, do not demand to see and hear more than others. The only demand is merely the desire of your soul to be heard and to be seen by you.
When you understand that your soul is primary, as is the soul of each of you, everything will begin to change not only in your glance and your words, but in the picture reflected in your eyes.
Avoid disappointments by stepping away from demands. Disappointments force you to slow your pace, to abandon your important mission — the unfolding of spirituality. Disappointment drives you into a dead end, from which it is difficult to find a way out, but there is a way out.
Everyone who has learned disappointment found it only because they placed demands on themselves, on others, on the world as a whole — but always a demand.
Go through desire, which will gently and tenderly lead you to what you truly need.

Do not demand, but simply forgive with your intention to attain what you wish, gently and tenderly, in full harmony with yourself and the surrounding world. And then there will be no sorrow of disappointments, and your path will continue in the knowing of yourself.
So be it!

Mentally, in a single motion, sever those strands of disappointment that have been trailing after you.
