Lesson from the Spirit
A dense forest; the Spirit is building a log house. I want to help, but the logs are very heavy.
"It's not easy to build a home when the logs are heavy."
"What to do?"
"When you have no strength, it is difficult to build anything. The strength of your spirituality must help you in constructing your own home, the home of your soul.
Each of you is engaged in this: some abandon it almost as soon as they begin, others try, rush through it, washed over by their weakness and powerlessness, and still others walk the path of finding their strength through the unfolding of their spirituality, gently and tenderly, without violence, threats, or demands. By gaining spiritual strength, you will become not merely stronger, you will become yourself.
What could be better than that? To reach the point that was, in truth, the point of your beginning. In comprehending spirituality, you comprehend yourself, gathering yourself piece by piece, recreating the unified image of the great soul.
Do not fear showing yourself, do not fear opening to yourself layer by layer, laying bare your true essence, kindling within you the inner light that is both your beginning and your continuation, that Divine spark of consciousness that was given to you. So be it.
Do not seek truth for gain, calculation, or advantage; go into pure, open self-knowledge, and you will see how easy and simple it is to build your house.
Where strength is found—through wisdom and faith—there is no place for weakness, sorrow, or disappointment; there is only the true light of God. So be it.
