A Lesson from the Spirit
I see a ballet studio with many mirrors. In that hall a fragile ballerina is dancing; all her movements are precise, measured, and fluid.
- What is this about?
- About grace.
Grace is not movement, it is not an outward display, it is the soul of a person. It is the manifestation of the soul, the manifestation of pure, sincere feelings.
Grace lies within the person themselves, in their thoughts, in their actions, in their desires, in their deeds.
Grace is the pure feeling of the soul’s repentance, its desire to create something new and beautiful.
Gracefulness of speech, behavior, actions, and thoughts. Reflect on that.
It is the pure energy of love, without twists or distortions.
Nurture this feeling within yourself, and you will understand how easy it really is to love and to be able to express that love. The ability to express love is no small thing.
Grace is responsible for that ability to express love.
Look around, and you will see this music in the movement of leaves in the wind, in the opening of a bud, even in raindrops.
Grace is the unobtrusive expression of feelings of love and beauty, through trust and acceptance.
It is a gentle, unobtrusive, tender confession of love for oneself and for the world. Which endows you with openness, generosity, and wisdom.
- How to develop this grace in oneself?
- Simply look around and see, do not hurry, learn to enjoy the moments you are given, learn to feel through grace all the beauty and charm of the surrounding world, gently and tenderly, in full acceptance of yourself and the world around you.
So be it.
