A Lesson from the Spirit

They showed a mass race. The athletes in the foreground were well equipped, experienced. They had professional uniforms, shoes, and all the necessary gear. They ran the fastest.

Behind them were people in simple clothes and mediocre shoes; they were not trying to overtake the first ones.

The Spirit appeared and said:

"The one who was last can become first. Many will turn from the true path just as they near the finish. And that road is nothing other than going backward.

Do not hurry where you are not ready to see and accept what is due — there you risk losing your faith, your trust in yourself and in the one Spirit. Those of you who go unhurriedly, measuredly, in full harmony, those will come first.
