A Lesson from the Spirit

I see pink flowers in the foreground. They are clear and distinct. Behind them are mountains, but I see them blurred. Everything behind the flowers is indistinct, as if the focus is only on this plant.
“Learn to see the small within the large.”
“What do I see?”
“You see life. Behind the mountains of your problems you do not notice the beauty around you. Learn to focus your attention on the beautiful little things.
You have become so used to looking at the mountains that you do not notice these small flowers right in front of you. Those mountains, those flowers — all of this is a manifestation of life, all of this is a manifestation of yourselves.
You stand beyond the line of prejudices and judgments, preferring the familiar, but in that familiarity you are greatly mistaken. Because of it you miss acquiring something far more valuable and necessary to you. These are the small lessons of truth that lie directly before you. These are the elements of the beautiful and the inspiring, the energy of creation, rapture, and creativity, the true unconditional love of the Creator for each of you.
Simply learn to see by focusing your attention on what is right before you, right now, in this minute. Learn to catch this beauty. Read the information and take into yourself that energetic current of rapture that this beauty carries.”
“What are you speaking about?”
“When you go somewhere, you worry about what will come next, you walk in expectation. It is important to be able to defocus your attention from expectation, to stop and catch your gaze on an ordinary passerby, to catch your gaze on the world around you, on every leaf, every flower, every snowflake and raindrop.
In everything where you feel lightness, tenderness, rapture. All of this is for your good. And then you will not go on in expectation; you will go filled with the new energies of the surrounding world. This fullness will reward you with lightness, happiness, and love.
So be it.
