Lesson from the Spirit

"The Word is rich in truth only when you believe in it.
Uncertainty cannot be a helper or adviser in action. If you are not sure, step back, take a step away and look at everything as an observer, not as a participant. The observer does not act from emotion.
Sometimes you are so uncertain of yourself that you cannot hear your inner voice.
"And what then should one do?"
"All your questions come from uncertainty. He who walks in trust — walks silently.
"But how does one remain curious for knowledge?"
"That is different. How can one pursue understanding without delving in and studying? Knowledge is important. This is about something else. About your demands on yourself, on the world around you, on God.

Very often you do not simply ask because you wish to be filled with knowledge, no.
You often ask with entitlement, you often ask with impatience, you often ask with hurt.
Hurt, disappointment… these only speak of your powerlessness, of the weakness of your spirit. Strengthen your spirit with faith and truth, and you will comprehend much, learn much, and receive answers to the questions that concern you.
Learn to trust yourself, to trust God; thus you will attain more than in impatient waiting. Thus you will come to know yourself more deeply. So be it.
"What is this about?"
"It is about how to hold your dialogue with the Creator.
If you desire true knowledge, you will receive it. If you are led by weakness — you will go into a process of healing, not into the process of knowing. And you will remain there as long as you need to.
Some go into the process of knowing, others go into the process of healing, and a third group — into denial of all that exists. The choice is yours."
