A Lesson from the Spirit

I see a fire; two houses are burning. In the first, a person keeps returning to the house and carrying boxes out of it. His crystal fills with acrid smoke and turns black. From the other house a person walks out with a bright, transparent crystal inside him.
"What does this mean?"
"Carelessness. About your approach, about your attitude toward yourself. A person's spirituality is very easy to discern in moments of vulnerability, when something unforeseen happens to them.
A person vulnerable to negative programs, in any difficult situation, will feel fear that gives rise to aggression, irritability, impatience. Ultimately this leads to disappointment.
A spiritual person, however, will look at everything with reason, in full trust of the spirit guiding them. What is the difference between them?"
"In the crystal."
"The difference is in their filling. Carelessness toward oneself, carelessness toward one's feelings, views, convictions, revealed at the moment of severe trials — shows everyone the contents with which one is filled; these are the boxes one, in a hurry, begins to carry out of his house.
But look at the other house. When the fire started, he stepped outside, looked at what was happening with full understanding, and with a heart of complete trust gazed at his house. By healing the space around him with the crystal of his soul, by healing himself as a divine essence. Is that not better?
"True."
"And his house was illuminated by God's light, filled with happiness, love, trust, and gratitude.
The other, in his bustle, putting his faults on display, will be left without a house and without a pure crystal of soul. And it will be hard for him to build a new house, because those boxes, those supplies that lie on him like a heavy burden, complicate his path. They hinder his efforts to build a new house full of light, joy, love, and the illumination of God.
You see. It is very easy to understand your spirituality, to understand your filling with the true divine light of the Creator. It is enough to look at yourself in moments of severe trials. How you react, what you feel, say, and do — these are the manifestation of your spirituality, your readiness, your filling with the true divine light of the Creator.
Do not fuss, do not be afraid, do not complain, and when it becomes difficult to go on — stop and look at what is happening through the true stream of the Divine light of the Creator manifested in you, with full gratitude for that love which fills you now and leads you along the best route for the knowing of your own soul. So be it.
