Lesson from the Spirit

They show me the wide green canopy of a tree. Fireflies are flying everywhere.

“Who are these fireflies?”
“They are you.”

They show how they scatter in different directions, each widening its radius of flight more and more.

“You must carry your light farther. This light that you are is the light of the Creator’s true love manifested in you. Do not be afraid to fly away.
Wherever you go, the light of God will pour out from you, through you—where there was darkness.
And the sun will ignite in the midst of night, and many will be astonished. But only those of you who dare to shine farther will shine brighter than all the others.”
“What does that mean?”
“What is the light of God? It is you yourself.”
“Yes, I remember.”
“You are the light that comes from God, through Him, for you and for all of existence.
What happens if you stay in one place?”
“If you are afraid to go farther, illuminating everything around you with your light, illuminating other worlds, you will not be able to know yourself, for this tree is not all the worlds.
Do not be afraid to go. Go in trust toward yourself and toward the spirit guiding you.
So be it.”
