Lesson from the Spirit

Where fear reigns, wars rage. Fear is the lord and master of your minds, enslaving heart and soul.

Allow fear to enter your house, and it will bolt the doors, seal the windows, block the chimneys, turning the dwelling of your light into a nightmarish place.

Open the doors within you, fling wide the windows, let these shackles ring and fall, striking the ground and dissolving in the stream of light. And your houses will fill with light—the abode of mind and heart, the eternal cradle of the soul. And in that heart let the spring drip of love be kindled.

Let your heart be that evening
No longer driven by fear,
Let it be filled with that light
Which we keep as eternal memory.

That light is peace and hope
And the warmth of earthly hearts,
Where every lover, as before,
Will find the dreams he lost.

Awake, my heartfelt friend,
And call others with you,
For the world will no longer be as it was
When you call with your hand.

You call to those righteous sources
Where God once created
A single world of streams of love,
By that love made patient

Toward the vain pride of judgment,
And toward envy, the faceless lie.
It was full of blessing
Your unfulfilled dream.

But you changed dreams like words
Kept as oaths of fidelity
And forgot the native womb,
And forgot the faithfulness of faith.

Now the time has come to remember
Do not search for the words in vain,
They will rise soon
From the depths of your soul.

And the birds will trill in chorus,
And bring a blessed tidings
Three heralds with the roll of thunder,
And each will remember his own honor.
