Lesson from the Spirit

Your heart is open now, but it has not always been so. In moments of doubt and hesitation you again and again close your heart. You hide your soul, surrendering to the rule of reason that leads you, not to the One Spirit that calls to you.
You wander much through times, trying to grasp a phantom hope, trying to clutch a lifesaving ring.

Each time, in a moment of despair, you cry for help, you seek that help, and so you feel your weakness, your confusion, your ignorance, your fear.

And each time, addressing in that way from a place of weakness, you do not draw closer to God; you only grow more distant from your true self—the one who does not fear troubles and hardships, who understands and acts through his own understanding, through seeing and feeling this world.

Address the higher powers not from the stance of your weakness, but from the stance of your awareness, your desire to grow and to rejoice like the angels of heaven. Rejoice in the new day, rejoice in warm smiles and even in sunlit glints. To rejoice is to fill yourself with life, to feel its currents within you, transforming all of it into the unified light. By speaking words of gratitude for what you have realized, for what has filled you, for what you have learned, you will attain far firmer bonds with the forces of good and light to which your lips call.
And that prayer is not a petition, but a praise of that power that grows within you with each day, with each breath, with every new beat of the heart in your breast.

And as this power grows, you raise your lineage from the knees of those oppressed and felled by their own pride and ignorance—which is called the forgetting of those knowledges, that origin to which you belong as one whole and indivisible, forever and ever.
The righteous is not the one who obeyed by following a mute voice, but the one who was enraptured, who filled his house with valor and honor.

Come then to the meaning of this message as you come for a kind word that strengthens your faith in that inevitable good which reigns in your breast, kindling with a bright flame that touches the heavens.
