A Lesson from the Spirit
To see the root of salvation.
You say: see to the root.
That means to perceive the essence of everything that happens, the reality of those events that call to you.
To find the root within yourself is the same as finding hope, as finding those key words that have always been the foundation of who you are, your inner knowledge.
From the root the shoots will grow upward. And the wind will not break them when those roots confidently take hold in the earth.
To be able to feel the earth, to sense it with a single touch, is your highest ability, one you often reject.
Trying to give the shoots freedom to grow, you expose them to unthinkable persecutions of wind, rain, and bad weather.
And those hopes, those shoots that you nurtured with love perish, yielding no fruit.
So it is in your work: if you do not feel, do not see the presence of your here-and-now unity with the place and the power that nourish your roots, then even if you give it growth, it will not rise up — it will break against that bad weather you did not prepare it for.
You did not prepare your hopes, your expectations, and your faith will waver when you do not see the fruits of your labors.
But to strengthen yourself in faith, in your steadfastness, find the root of your soul. Behold those roots and how deep and strong they embrace the ground beneath them.
Give them growth and watch how each of them becomes firmer, longer, more certain. As if capillaries distribute the life-energy of the source through their vessels, filling you entirely with the energy of creation, where beautiful feelings of love and all-understanding, of acceptance, are born in their primal purity.
And may you be strengthened by your roots in desires and thoughts, washed by the pure dew of that life-energy that flows through your veins like the channels of the river of life — eternal, indivisible, and unbreakable, like the union of united souls.
So be it. 🙏
