A Lesson from the Spirit

The sky reflects an eternity of serenity. When you look at the sky with a captivated gaze, you forget everything in order to remember yourself.
To remember yourself, it is enough to withdraw from any thoughts ready to entangle your consciousness and lead you off course.
When you feel ready to know yourself, ready to meet your true self, simply look at the sky as if pressing your face to its broad shoulders.
You can look like that forever, without turning away and without worrying about anything, but in truth a few minutes will suffice if each of them is devoted to the serenity of the heavenly expanses. And in that serenity, in the silence and stillness, forgetting anxieties and sorrows, leaving thoughts behind, you may suddenly recall your true self: your needs, your motives, your abilities and aspirations, which are only a message from your soul.
It is as if learning to breathe underwater, developing in yourself this given ability, like an evolution.
The evolution of the soul is the ability to prepare the ground around you, to prepare you to accept true reality.
And you will have neither a shadow of doubt nor a single question of how or why, but only clear consciousness and an open image of your Soul.
When the Soul unfolds it rejoices, it celebrates, but this rejoicing is in silence, and its pastime is modest in motive.
Everything that once seemed acceptable to you will suddenly become illusory, as if peering into a looking‑glass.
For truth is not in the pomp of speech, but in the modesty of judgments, in simplicity.
And when you leave room for conclusions, take care that they no longer trouble you in the form of malign disbelief, suffocating disappointment, and tormenting uncertainty. Clear your path of that longing which is not the beginning of the great act—the knowing of the awakened soul.
Inspire your mind to serve the true purpose of the soul. And then you will find both beginning and end to many things.
