A Lesson from the Spirit

“How are people to heal illnesses?”
“You need only ask for it three times, without thinking.”
“How is it possible to ask without thinking?”
“Faith is that about which you do not think.
You cannot reason about it logically. From the standpoint of science, faith does not prove the existence of anything. It is only the Soul’s cry, its creation. And since you cannot give it a logical conclusion, there is no point in thinking about it. You must feel it, sense it from within, its tender radiance swelling under pressure. Healing and enfolding every part of your body, which, touching that radiance, begins to be lit by the light of truth and disperses in small currents to those places that call to you with pain, pleading for help, where that light, penetrating and saturating those parts, dissolves into them without remainder along with the pain that is no more — leaving only a gentle, light warmth. But it is not fever; it is only a glow, like a reverberation, a distant echo of what has passed.”
