A Lesson from the Spirit

"You often confuse fatigue with unbelief.
When you feel you have no strength and yet keep going, that's when your faith in the work that fires your soul begins to take shape and grow stronger.
You fortify your faith each time it seems your strength is spent, when you reach a certain peak on your route — the so-called turning point that will either split you from within or bind you together.
This is not mere theorizing or fantasy. Every time you feel tired, sense a kind of apathy, powerlessness, disappointment, even anger, look at yourself and look around you — what do you see?"

He shows a vast whirlwind. There are several of them around the person. Various objects are flying in those whirlwinds.
"This is the point of transition. Either you strengthen your faith when it seems you're trapped, when there is no way out, or you are consumed by fear. Powerlessness, emptiness, apathy. Call it what you will, but it always leads to imbalance and the stoppage of everything you were striving for.
When you feel trapped, you see only those whirlwinds around you, nothing else. But when, in such a condition, you experience the strengthening of your faith, cultivating trust, acceptance, and love, you see only the space beyond those vortices, the vast expanses that spread out before you.
And you take a step, firm and confident, with full understanding and awareness that you are a co-creator of what you have seen, what you have spoken, and what you have accepted."

He shows the whirlwinds freezing, as if suspended. The person calmly walks between them, onward, not looking back, not thinking, as if certain they are capable of it. But as soon as the person passes, all the whirlwinds dissolve, leaving many scattered objects around.
"What is this?"
"These objects are not for you. They were only signs, to help you understand the processes taking place. You have passed through. Ahead will be something else, and you will be different too.
You cannot go through certain stages and remain the same.
Every time you grasp the essence of what is happening, drawing a lesson from it, you nurture yourself.
You change, your relationship to everything changes, and therefore what comes next will be different. Not because the world changed for you, but because you have seen your true self."
