A Counsel to the Group from the Spirit
“Do not draw away from others. In every sky light is visible.”
“What does that mean?”
“Light is everywhere. Look at the sky—how brightly the sun shines by day! It cannot help but delight, to please the eye, to soothe the soul.
But what about at night?
At night you can see what is hidden by day, no less beautiful and marvelous. Often you deceive yourselves, thinking you know, feeling certain in your judgments about someone. But let something happen, let that person say or do something, and they reveal themselves entirely differently. Yet for that you must wait, just as day gives way to night. So people unfold. In moments of sorrow or joy you are all different. And in each is a light for whoever wishes to revive it within themselves.
Time. It is the lever of governance that helps one forget or remember, to let go and to accept, or to nurture hatred within oneself.
Whenever something bad touches your soul, remember that in every sky light is visible. Even if it is only one star burning on a dark horizon.
That one star becomes hope, consolation, faith. And by accepting that, you accept that night changes to day, and a new dawn comes into your life, into your soul, blossoming with an unprecedented bright, trembling radiance.
What could be more beautiful than life itself? Only to comprehend its truth.”
