A Lesson from the Spirit
I felt as if I were a bird high in the sky. And the Spirit spoke.
Freedom — this is something to ponder.
Freedom from thoughts. Freedom from expectations. Freedom from impossible contracts imposed on you. Freedom from subjugation. Freedom from doing something unwillingly. How often do you allow yourself to be free? Not in the worldly routine, but in your soul?
Freedom is possessing the will to choose, the will of your destiny.
Freedom is light, serene soaring. It is not even flight. It is that state of the soul where you do not plan a route, do not set sky-high goals, do not look down with fear, do not dread.
The feeling of soaring, where in that soaring you feel with your wings the air that has filled all the space.
That air, invisible to your eye, is absolute nothing. Yet it is the only thing that holds you so high. So what is it?
“Spirit, I do not understand—what is it?”
“Your faith is created from your will, the free will of choice. The will to accept. Not compulsion, but your free will in it. So when you accept something in your life through coercion, through necessity, that is not the will of free choice, it is merely compulsion. And you toss and turn from that ignorance and misunderstanding, from which it becomes only heavier for you, as if you are being drawn to the earth more and more by invisible shackles and weights?
And your soul desires to soar, to rise in a quiet, serene essence, in a bright divine light, illuminating the space around.
So what is freedom?
Emptiness, space, complete nothing?
Or the necessary all, for the growth and transformation of your soul?
Therefore, when you feel the weight, as if something gnaws at your soul, remember freedom, that serenity, those wings that were given to you once, freely, in the name and for the glory of the rebirth of your soul.
