Lesson from the Spirit

- Don’t burn the bridge while you’re standing on it.
- What does that mean?
- To understand the essence of what is happening to you, learn, learn.
Learn to cross the bridge you are on. That is the lesson; that is the point of your being, your uniqueness, the keenness, the divinity of your inner light.
When you feel your path is hard, and each step grows more difficult, don’t hurry to burn it and run away.
To walk the path is not to flee, nor to turn back. It is to realize.
- Does a person need to endure some difficult situation? Did I understand that correctly?
- Not exactly. Not endure, but understand.
You often err, thinking that overcoming a difficulty means carrying it through to the end, however long the road.
But sometimes it is enough to become aware, and through that awareness accept the primary cause, agree with the importance of the lesson learned from it.
And then your path will be traversed.
The bridge that wobbles beneath your feet will suddenly gain strength, and you will cross it with ease.
You don’t have to wait for years, you don’t have to endure and despair over your impotence. Simply become aware. Think with your heart where your mind heaps on you all the turmoil, anger, and despair. In those most difficult moments, show your steadiness and forget those unspoken rules you invented.
Illusion. They are the illusion, not the bridge you stand on. It is not the bridge that shakes; you are rocking it with your agitation. Stop your mind and give free rein to your heart. Let the soul speak for you, not the mind.
Where the lesson of your soul lies, let it speak. Reserve the mind for your everyday affairs. Learn to balance and to call on the light of your soul for help and clarification, wherever you go and wherever you stand.
Do not hurry to burn the bridge you are standing on. In doing so you risk casting yourself into the abyss of suffering and ignorance.
Where to go and how to get out of this chasm?

Cross it by reaching out your hand to yourself from that far shore you see, with soft, gentle, careful light — an echo of your own soul’s call, which longs to know the fullness of God’s light on the path of knowing yourself. So be it. 🙏
