Lesson from the Spirit

"Love is kept by the memory of the courteous."

"What does that mean?"

"It means that you must feel this world, and yourselves in that world, with gratitude, with a deep understanding of who you are, the primary cause, the purpose you represent. By the Creator's design, by the nature of your originating, you are guardians of God's Light, that very undying spark.

But only when you hold this knowledge in your memory with gratitude does understanding of what is happening to you open to your sight, understanding of all processes of interaction in this world where you sense and see yourselves.

You are not wronged in something, as it may sometimes seem to you at first glance. Where you disagree, where you protest, do not accept, demand — there you express not only protest; there you lose yourselves, sometimes for a long time.

Where you keep gratitude for that teaching, even when it is sent to you in the form of sometimes difficult lessons, there you do more than thank; you resurrect the memory of true knowledge within yourselves, like flashes of consciousness hidden in the depths of those life cycles you have touched.

Love is the quintessence of your being, your primary cause of all that exists, beginning and continuation. You will learn the lesson only when you understand this primary cause of your being — what love is, what the light inside you is, what you yourselves are. All of this is you, the source of the great benevolent power directed toward creation and the transformation of worlds for your benefit, for the good of all that exists. So it is, and so it will be."
