Lesson from the Spirit

"The word travels many paths to become filled with meaning."
"What is that about?"
"It is about your awareness of the significance of what is spoken.
What is a word you have spoken in the hearts of others?
A collection of sounds, or a specific message that carries a particular intention.
Who determines that?"
"A person, I suppose."
"Is that what you think? You so often speak words without understanding their weight. When a word you have spoken wounds another, what do you feel afterward? Remorse, regret, or delight in your soul?
It is your mind, not you, that worries over the meaning the word you spoke carries. For your soul is always full of love, that trembling hope for the pure and selfless flourishing of its own Divine essence.
What do you carry within yourself?
A word is nothing more than a set of sounds until you endow it with meaning, until you lay into it the energetic intent that your soul requires.
So speak—speak purely, clearly and openly—but speak the truth. And truth is what your soul desires. Truth exists only in the true divine radiance of your soul.
And that which is spoken from your soul is for your good and for the good of those people whom you bless with your love.
