Advice from the Spirit

Mutual understanding as a necessary turn of phrase in today’s conversations.

Mutual understanding means to understand and to hear the other.
When you refuse to hear the other, a hum rises inside you from braided voices, calling to you for help.
And you do not understand yourself, you do not understand who you are, where you are, for what reason, where you are going…
Goals, thoughts, words—all become tangled, turning into a certain mush that is hard to sort through alone.
Therefore, when you are in complete confusion and chaos, attend, listen to others, whether it is the song of a bird or the whisper of the wind, whether it is a bird’s cry or a cry for help—listen, and in the balance of silence, your own silence, you will behold the harmony of the unity of beginnings. You will multiply your efforts in such a way that the world will appear to you from another side, from that rear that you did not feel within yourself before.
And having found that rear, you will be able, with pride and praise, to stand on the path of your true unfolding.
