A Lesson from the Spirit

A boat in the middle of a narrow river. They show a person who fussily tries to bail water with both hands from an old boat.

"The old boat has sprung a leak. What will you do? Sit and wait for help while bailing out the water, or row toward the shore, toward that stronghold in which you are confident?"

Many things in life become clear in moments of acute necessity, when quick, coordinated decisions are required. Where you considered yourself the highest aspect of being, you only lost your shape if you did not act in accordance with your declarations.

You often lose your wings when making your first flight because you are not sure of your readiness. But what if you believed in your chance? In the fact that right now you are standing on the edge making that very jump, unfolding wings behind your back simply because you are ready? That your whole path was only the path to this high cliff? So that, having walked the solid ground, you might suddenly open your arms to the sky?

It is always right to return to the ground if you feel your uncertainty. Do not fall into the thought "whatever will be, will be," but feel the edges of your soul, its readiness and desire. You often wait for help without even asking for it, when it would be enough to reach out a hand to that stronghold that is your salvation, your support, your peace.

God is everywhere; He is not only where troubles occur, He is even where your wisdom, courage, and faithfulness have a place.

To see children grow, become wise and resolute—any father will rejoice in that. But do not forget your own path. And where you have spread your wings, let the sky and everyone else see you, so that others will believe they can succeed, that they can overcome.

Hiding behind fears you only bail water into a sinking boat. But when you are open to rescue, to a single decision, you awaken a unified beginning within yourself.

Readiness is where you do not grow weary, where you walk in trust, where you know and do not worry about who you are.
